The Grade 11 Mathematics course is designed to strengthen learners’ mathematical foundations and prepare them for the demands of Grade 12 DBE Mathematics.
The course follows the CAPS/DBE curriculum and covers key Grade 11 topics such as Algebraic Expressions and Equations, Exponents and Surds, Functions, Number Patterns, Finance and Growth, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry, Euclidean Geometry, Measurement, Probability, and Statistics.
Learners work through structured lessons, worked examples, practice exercises, quizzes, assignments, revision activities, and examination-style questions. The course places strong emphasis on problem-solving, correct mathematical reasoning, interpretation of questions, and developing the skills needed for both school-based assessments and formal examinations.
By the end of the course, learners should have a stronger understanding of Grade 11 Mathematics and be better prepared for tests, examinations, and the transition into Grade 12.
