About Course

This holiday programme consolidates the essential Term 1 number skills and prepares learners for Term 2. Learners revisit whole numbers, integers, fractions, percentages, decimals and patterns through focused explanations, mixed practice and a diagnostic assessment.

The preparation section introduces exponential notation, variables, constants and algebraic conventions so that learners begin Term 2 with confidence. The course is suitable both for learners who need remediation and those seeking extension.

Fractions, Percentages and Decimals
<p>Strengthen conversions and calculations across common fractions, mixed numbers, decimal fractions and percentages.</p>

Numeric and Geometric Patterns
<p>Extend patterns represented in sequences, diagrams and tables, and express general rules.</p>

Preparing for Exponents
<p>Introduce exponential notation, bases and exponents, powers, square and cube roots and the meaning of basic exponent laws.</p>

Preparing for Algebra
<p>Introduce variables, constants, coefficients, terms, expressions and substitution in preparation for Term 2.</p>
