About Course

This Grade 12 Mathematical Literacy Term 3 course focuses on diagrams, plans, models and packaging before the preparatory examinations. Learners interpret symbols and notation, determine actual dimensions, choose scales, draw floor and elevation plans, and solve two- and three-dimensional model problems.

Integrated revision prepares learners for both three-hour preparatory examination papers.

<p>Produce accurate two-dimensional floor plans using measurements, scale, symbols and labels.</p>

Elevation Plans
<p>Interpret and draw front, side and other elevation views from physical structures.</p>

Packaging and Item Arrangement
<p>Compare packaging arrangements, estimate capacity and minimise wasted space or material.</p>

Two- and Three-dimensional Models
<p>Interpret and construct scale models and relate 2D representations to 3D objects.</p>

Estimating Material Quantities
<p>Estimate material quantities and costs for plans, packaging and model construction.</p>

Preparatory Paper 1
<p>Complete integrated finance, data handling and probability practice for the 150-mark Paper 1.</p>

Preparatory Paper 2
