About Course
The Grade 10 Mathematics course is designed to build a strong foundation for senior-phase Mathematics and prepare learners for the more advanced work covered in Grades 11 and 12.
The course follows the CAPS/DBE curriculum and covers key Grade 10 topics such as Algebraic Expressions, Exponents and Surds, Equations and Inequalities, Number Patterns, Functions and Graphs, Finance and Growth, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry, Euclidean Geometry, Measurement, Probability, and Statistics.
Learners work through structured lessons, worked examples, practice exercises, quizzes, assignments, revision activities, and examination-style questions. The course focuses on developing mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills, accurate calculations, and the correct interpretation of questions.
By the end of the course, learners should have a solid understanding of Grade 10 Mathematics and be better prepared for school-based assessments, examinations, and progression into Grade 11.
