About Course

This winter revision programme consolidates the number and algebra foundations developed during the first half of Grade 8. Learners practise exponents, algebraic expressions, equations, functions and graphs alongside selected Term 1 skills.

The preparation section introduces data investigations, probability language and the geometry vocabulary needed for Term 3. Diagnostic and readiness assessments help learners identify gaps before schools reopen.

Midyear Diagnostic Check

<p>Simplify expressions, substitute values, form equations from contexts and solve using appropriate inverse operations.</p>

Functions and Graphs
<p>Move between verbal rules, flow diagrams, tables, formulae, equations and Cartesian graphs.</p>

Preparing for Data Handling and Probability
<p>Introduce samples, populations, data collection, tables, measures of central tendency, outcomes and probability.</p>

Preparing for Geometry
<p>Review line segments, rays, straight lines, parallel and perpendicular lines, angle notation, triangles and quadrilaterals.</p>

Winter Revision Assessment
<p>A cumulative assessment measuring midyear mastery and readiness for Term 3.</p>
